Your privacy on JOBUS

1 min read · Updated Oct 27, 2026 · Reviewed by the JOBUS editorial team

Your JOBUS profile is private when you create it. Employers cannot search for you or see your name, contact details or resume unless you decide to share them.

Who can see what

  • When you apply to a job on JOBUS, only that company sees the resume you choose for that application and your contact details.
  • If you share your profile with a company, you choose what it can see (profile, resume, contact details) and you can stop sharing at any time.
  • If you turn on "discoverable", verified employers see an anonymous card: skills, experience, county and the kind of work you want. No name, no contact details, no employer names. They must ask you before they see more.

You stay in control

  • See which companies looked at your information under Privacy & sharing.
  • Stop sharing with one click. Block a company and it can no longer see or contact you.
  • Download all your data or delete your account under My data.

JOBUS is free for job seekers and employers. We do not sell your data and we do not use AI to rank you for employers.
